Deed Poll Pricing

When you apply for a deed poll for your name change, the standard price you will need to pay for our service includes:

• one original deed poll document for you to complete, sign and get witnessed
• instructions for correct completion of the deed poll
• a list of the main organisations you may wish to notify (with contact details)
• two personalised letters to accompany your deed poll when you need to notify organisations of your name change
• use of our online sample letters pages at any time

We generally recommend that you complete the deed poll document upon receipt and get it photocopied so you can safely store the original. We keep copies of the requests made but since no one can sign the documents for you, the information that we hold is not proof of a change of name.

If you were to instruct a solicitor, their costs would depend upon how much you wanted them to do on your behalf.

Our deed poll service bears the same force as that supplied by a solicitor. Our charges are listed below.

Single Application for deed poll: £21.00

All subsequent applications for a deed poll: £7.00

Administration cost for replacements or ammendments AFTER 14 days from despatch of deed poll: £5.00
